The New Moon occurs on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 1:47am in New York, USA. There are quite a few aspects to and around it. The strongest direct aspects to the New Moon are a conjunction to retrograde Mercury, messenger of the gods, along with an opposition to unpredictable and tech driven Uranus. It will also be in a trine to spiritual Neptune, which is sextile Uranus. Both Neptune and Uranus are part of the Magic Triangle I have mentioned previously. Also happening is a strong, harmonious trine between Saturn and Jupiter. A New Moon occurs when the Sun and Moon are exactly at the same degree of a sign. New Moons are about initiation and beginnings and marks a new lunar cycle. It is the time to initiate projects and plan your trajectory to your goal. Plant now the seeds of future successes. New Moons are more emotionally balanced than Full Moons and last for the two weeks preceding the Full Moon.
TRUTH and CONSEQUENCES
The intuitive nature of the Moon in conjunction to logical and communication oriented Mercury can be tricky as is. Add to this that Mercury is retrograde and in opposition to retrograde Uranus, and we have a well shaken snow globe of information, communication, and feelings to sort through. There is a challenge separating facts from feelings and truth from hopeful expectations. This flurry of information and possibilities can be a bit blinding. This aspect can bring up the truth about past communications, texts, emails that are shocking, revealing, and have their consequences. Technology, AI, new breakthroughs, and how they affect us can bring on varied questions and concerns as well. The key here is to be open and flexible in order to adapt to change. It would also be smart to wait until after November 29, 2025, when Mercury ends its retrograde motion for a reality check before signing any contracts or finalizing agreements.
Fortunately, these same players will be well aspected to spiritual, psychic, and creative Neptune, offering intuitive insight and understanding. Neptune rules meditation, prayer, yoga, film, poetry, rhythm through music, dance, and universal synchronicity. Creative visualization, dreams, and visions can guide you wisely. Take those quiet moments of reflection. The combination of great ideas and a passion to pursue them can manifest opportunities from expected and unexpected sources. Prayer and faith can also be a good counterbalance to chaos and uncertainty.
The icing on the cake of possibility is the trine between stable and future founding Saturn and benevolent, expansive Jupiter. These are also triggering the Magic Triangle. Immediate opportunities through travel, higher education, publishing, law, and higher morals can bring to fruition new laws and regulations that will be implemented to assure future growth and stability. The work you put in now will pay off later. Saturn loves to leave you a bit of a bonus when you do the right thing. Expand upon your long term goals and career path.
