The New Moon occurs at 24°03’ Gemini on Sunday June 14, 2026 at 10:54pm in New York, USA. It is also a Super Moon. The aspects are a semisextile to Mars and another to Jupiter with the New Moon at the midpoint between them. New Moons are about initiation, beginnings and the new cycle of the moon. It is the time to start projects and plan your trajectory towards your goal. Plant now the seeds of future successes. New moons are more emotionally balanced than full moons and last for the two weeks preceding the full moon.
OPTIMISM & ENTHUSIASM
Optimism and enthusiasm are high but must be defined and directed with discipline. Although semi-sextiles are not powerful aspects they do make you face a minor glitch in uniting feelings and balancing energy. You may have to cool your jets a bit before flying off emphatically into the great blue yonder. It is a good time to go over vacation and travel plans and be realistic with what you can accomplish. Jupiter likes travel, historical sights, trying new foods and maybe a goblet of wine… or two. Mars wants to be on the move with an open road ahead. Although exciting, you can become overwhelmed with choices. “So much to do, so little time” scenarios can lead to hasty decisions. If you’re not planning a trip you may need to harness this energy with exercise or sport. Stay hydrated! Being an enthusiastic fan and being in a likeminded crowd can be thrilling. Just be aware of the temperaments around you. People may be in the mood to indulge in food and drink. Jupiter can be inclined to a “more is better!” mindset when on a roll. People can so caught up in rooting for their team that it could become clumsy or just plain obnoxious. What starts off as exciting and fun can end up in over-the-top behavior you may regret later. Plan ahead and be safe in and around cars. Blind optimism and enthusiasm can make some unaware of others. With that said, tune into the higher octaves of these planets and you can be grand, chivalrous, sporty and generous. Enjoy!
